Rubus 'Chester' (Thornless Blackberry) Edible-Shrub, blackberry, #2 - Size Container

RUBUS `CHESTER` A thornless blackberry that yields a productive crop of large, very sweet, high quality fruit. The hardiest thornless blackberry, it does fine in all of Zone 5, and has good resistance to cane blight. Ripens in July.

• Plant is delivered direct from our nursery in a 2-gallon trade pot. It is fully rooted in the soil and can be planted immediately upon arrival, weather permitting. We advise not to plant during frigid winter months or under drought conditions. Planting and how-to-care instructions will arrive with shipment
• For best results, plant in USDA Zones 5-8. Mature height is 4-6ft, mature spread is 4-6ft
• Thorn less blackberry bush that can produce quality fruit. Plant is not guaranteed to arrive with fruit on it
• Grows well in full sun
• Plant will be dormant (no leaves) late Fall through the Winter months, this is normal. It will leaf out in Spring
